Ambassador Completes First International

Congratulations to Karen Shepherd on their successful week. They completed their first International together at Keysoe CDI3* on their horse Szibadano aka Sebastian.

"Well... we've just had the best weekend ever and we've finally earned our British flags!! YAY

My dear kind horse (Szibadano aka Sebastian) really deserves a huge mention.

This was our first International together at Keysoe CDI3* and we were both in the dark about what was to come! We had a few green mistakes on day 1 & were 19th in the PSG. In the Intermediate 1 on Day 2, we were 15th and luckily for me the Top 15 qualified for the Intermediate 1 freestyle on the final day (woo hoo!!).

Sebastian has only done three Inter 1's in his life to date, I've never ridden a freestyle on him, we had my other horses floor plan and music (because I didn't think I'd qualify!) and we still came 11th !!! He is such a star and tries his heart out for you. I am always humbled by these beautiful animals and what they do for us. Thank you to all our special four legged friends and also thank you so much to Rebecca for all her hard work & support and Liz for sending me lots of positive messages and telling me how it all works at an International!! I've added a few photos to this because I am SO proud of my lovely pony."
