WOW Saddles Australia’s young rider, Brooke Ellis (16yrs) has been on fire of late riding her Morgan x Friesian, Mountain Creek Valia. In 2023 they have competed at 4 major competitions on the Australian Dressage circuit with great success. The combination of three years haven’t missed a podium finish yet this year.
Earlier in the year they competed at their first CDI (Willinga Park Dressage By The Sea CDI) where they placed second in all three FEI-J Tests (Team, Individual and Freestyle) with exceptionally strong scores.
In April, the combination competed at the NSW State Interschools Championships where second placings in both Advanced Tests, a win in one Medium Test and second in the other (with PB’s in every Test) put them into Reserve Champion in both Advanced and Medium competitions.
At the recent Australian Youth Dressage Championships (for riders 21 years and under), Valia and Brooke achieved Reserve Champion Advanced and were third overall at the Medium level in incredibly tight competition with less than 0.5 of a percent between 1st and 3rd.
